Healthylife PharmacyHealthylife has data and clinical trials data for over half a century that demonstrate the effectiveness of Celecoxib in the treatment of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Prescription Celecoxib is a prescription drug that is used to relieve pain and stiffness associated with these conditions. Celecoxib belongs to a class of drugs known as COX-2 selective inhibitors. It works by reducing the production of a substance called prostaglandins, which play a role in pain and inflammation. These substances are responsible for swelling of the body's tissues and impaired mobility and therefore, for the progression of the condition. Celecoxib inhibits the COX-2 enzyme and thus, relieves pain and inflammation associated with these conditions.
